This is a parlour size guitar with solid Sitka spruce top and laminated Rosewood back/side. The model is Alvarez AP70 purchased from luthermusic last year. The specifications are as follows:
- 12-fret parlor-size body.
- Solid Sitka spruce top.
- Rosewood back and sides.
- Scalloped X-bracing.
- Mahogany neck.
- Rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
- 24.2-inch scale.
- 13/4-inch nut width.
- 21⁄8-inch spacing at saddle.
- High-gloss polyurethane-finished body, satin-finished neck.
- Die-cast open-gear tuners.
I have upgraded the original bone saddle to a FWI saddle and I have installed a LR Baggs Element pickup. The tone of this guitar improved rather significantly with the saddle upgrade and the projection is really loud. I have also changed the original black colour pick guard to a transparent one. There are some minor scratch marks on the guitar. The overall condition of this guitar is 8.5/10.
