I am the previous owner of this bass.
It prob has the most solid of woods, and has a nice neck thru' construction, good sustain. Would make a great fretless if you want to defret it.

Bought it in Melbourne, Australia in early 1990's, and brought it back to Singapore in 1995.

I swapped it 4-5 years ago for a Joe Pass Epiphone Guitar
- which was stolen by the movers who "helped" me move my 30 or so guitars/basses. Didn't find out till more than a year later.

Lessons learnt,
1) Move your precious belongings YOURSELF.
2) And don't own too many guitars/basses.
