SOLD WTB: Short scale bass for beginner

Hi. Looking for decent quality, short scale bass (preferred) for nephew starting to play. Had been looking for the Squire Jaguar SS but seems none available in Singapore right now. Prefer good condition with bag or case, and practice amp also be good if have. Am not a bass player so any advice on possible new alternatives also be welcome in case I can't find used.
