WTB: Pls recommend Cheap Electric Guitar (Swing, epiphone,Ibanez Squier) < SGD$ 250

Hi all

for Begineer, which has the most suitable (easy to play, best warm tone) that price no more than SGD$ 250, I see there are actually quite many choices from SGD$ 159 to SGD$ 250. I will not care about distortion. Since new one so cheap and there is no good buy for 2nd hand, I thinking of getting new one. I already have a used fandell 15R combo amp. Just need something electric to connect to it. Electric-Acoustic guitar is too expensive.
Thanks for reply. I plan to get it by this weekend. Just too many choices out there I am overwhelm with the choices just at SVGuitar alone.

Hi,

what songs will you be playing?
for warm sounding tones, maybe a guitar equipped with humbuckers.. this has the rounder sound, has more sound output, and usually less sparkle.
for that price range, i'd still recommend buying a second hand guitar. do some research first, test the feel of the guitars you could find in shops, you could usually get the guitar at 3 quarters to half the brand new price.

then you could use the change to get pedals.

Maybe I should go checkout Davis or SVGuitar select cheapest one and change pickup to doublecoil? I dont see good bargain in 2nd hand Electric Guitar for 30% or so, buy new one with warranty for piece of mind? I learning only, intend to just play melody and lead accompaniement later, definitely not metal rock.

Swee Lee has sale on now and they have some really friendly staff! I bought my Gibson LPJ there recently and it was great! You may wan to check out epiphone too, cheap but definitely comes with the warm tone of a gibson!

Thanks, Clement! I head to SweeLee instead to check out. If they have good price for Acoustic I will also get it as well. esterda was at Yamaha and the FG700 entry level acoustic (SGD$ 380), was thinking about going back to get it today. Figure it out I go for cheap electric and a nice acoustic guitar since I dont gig, just play at home.
