Bro, the Novation impulse series are simply USD/midi port DAW/midi hardware controllers, its neither a synth( No ROM sounds on board ) nor a workstation ( no stand alone recording features )... Cheers !

So far. its the new korg triton talkie synth controller. check out at citymusic.

Sorry..spelling error for the Korg product above, it should be : Korg TRITON taktile 49 or you could consider Yamaha MX49
