Hi fellow softies, im looking to buy a bass amp, so make me an offer!
I will be using it to play slap bass, funk, jazz with a fender j bass; thus i do not want distortion, but a warm tone.
im looking at something that will fit the home/studio/small gig niche. it has to be reasonably portable as a combo or a head and cab setup. thus something small and handy.
my budget is up to $400- i am willing to go up a little more if its something spectacular.
Aesthetic condition is not super important- i like relic'ed stuff anw. But it must be in proper working condition.
If u have a tube pre-amp kinda setup that u could sell at the higher range of my budget, talk to me and i can raise it abit.
apart from that- i also have a almost new lindy fralin VH neck and mid pickup, standard winding for strat that i would trade for a boutique pup of equal value that is hotter- i might also consider texas specials as im looking for that SRV neck tone. however if its texas specials u gotta topup. they are not for sale, only trade.
