Go ahead man, it isn't hard to pick up the guitar in general, the part that's hard is actually to be able to excel in it... haha im sure many here would agree to this but well i guess you can pick up a tip or two from your sister anyway
anyway you shouldnt be bothered as to the value of the guitar that is made available to you
To be honest value may simply be due to some specs that's made available in that particular model, but for starters you shouldn't be bothered by that
all you gotta have in mind is that if it feels good to you, anyway you shouldnt have much of a problem since fenders are generally quite well catered to most people
i personally dun get this thread?? why does someone have to ask ppl in a guitar section of a forum if its worth picking up guitar?? pretty obvious the answer is gonna be biased towards picking it up! if u wanna pick up the guitar just pick it up damn it!
Yeap, like the rest said, you have a decent and good guitar so don't waste it. It never kills to learn a new instrument. Furthermore with your background in drums, im guessing you should already have a strong sense of rhythm so now u can learn about melody as well. If you want to start taking lessons, try shops in peninsula like Guitar Connection or maybe Davis Guitar cause music schools are super slow and really prevent you from being able to excel fast. Hope this helps
