That isgoing to be one heavy piece of board. There is a shop at Chong Pang Market selling Plywood boards 4ft x 8 ft but only 1 inch think at most. Kelantan lane area (near sungei road may have them too). Are you planning for a drums platform or something?

to find 1pc of wood 5cm thick is pretty tough. suggest you glue a few planks together.

i know where u can get them woods...they will even cut to ur specific dimensions n can even choose the type of finish on the wood...

Ya I was planning for a platform, I initially put 5cm cos I scared later too thin then cannot take it and collapse

instead of a solid piece of wood, wouldn't it be better to have a frame+wood structure - this way, you achieve strength without the weight (cf how they do things like car bodies, metal structures, etc)
