Get the Samson Wireless AirLine Bass. It's got a tiny transmitter and the receiver is the size of a stompbox using 9-volt battery. It's truly transparent and almost no interference. I've been using one for regular gigs without problems for almost 4 months now. Available @ Swee Lee.

Doesn't sound cheap man, doubt you're gonna get anything near that for $200. But then again, i'm not too into these kinda fancy tech things, so i wouldn't know the prices well.

i see ppl selling those 100bucks kind of wireless systems. but i dun think they are reliable enough for a gig. yea , i'm sure 200 is not enough. i'm just posting it low so i can look for a better system.

Shure is using a bodypack transmitter which is old-school. It is clipped onto the strap and it can get quite uncomfortable with cables running ard.

Both sides need batteries. Reciever can be powered by 9V adaptor.

Like I said, it has been working very well for me. The signal is as good and strong as when you use a guitar jack. The tone is clean and not coloured. I'm very happy with the Samson AirLine Bass unit and I strongly recommend it to all! Just remember to standby some new AAA batteries for the transmitter.
