Anyone know where I can get cheap ones for the karoake type? Prefably less than 20.

back home i bought a cheap wireless mic with receiver and convert the mic to a guitar plug coooooool man it works well 10 m is the reception .so i can play outside the house my amp inside and effects try it man experiment..

it really works man about the quality ok what receiver effects then amp and i also buy one more wireless mic and convert it for our bass guitar ......take note of the frequency later u buy the same brand u got a problem the receiver will got messy hahahhahaguitar become bass and vice versa.and i also made my own passer and distortion home made hahahhaa :lol:

i dont undrestand the question ?>is it the distance from the mic transmitter to receiver how far it will work or...

You can use any cable from the transmitter to the guitar. But a short one would do. You don't really want to have cables hanging all over your body.
