Why the Maestro Ed-2?

Hello fellow softies! I wanna know why you fellow maestro ed-2 owners out there made the decision to own one of these sweet beauties Any particular reason why? Don't mind to share it with all of us! I personally got it cause of the mellow tones i could get out of it

well i dont have a ED-2,but i think its becasue dreadnaught body,deeper tone more bass.And with a solid top which results in "better" sound.:mrgreen:

I went to a store and it costs roughly about $600? I'm just a noob at guitar and I'm not sure if it's worth paying for such an expensive guitar.
