Who you prefer to do your guitar setup?

I hope I dont offend anyone, but just a simple poll here:

Would you guys bring your guitars to

1) Beez,
2) Malcolm Tan, or
3) Others (pls state)

for guitar setup or repair? Any reasons for your choice, and additional comments?

bro, if u recall, there has been some ongoing discussion abt setups the past 1-2 mths on SOFT. Try searching first? g4c also has had these discussions.

Among the list of credible ppl for setup I know are:
- Beez
- Malcolm
- Raymond @ Luther (also a luthier by training)
- Dr Axe (only for ppl who know him or are his students)
- Randolf (he sets his own guitars up and they're gig worthy for him, so I figured he's pretty good too)

I'm sure there are many others I've missed out who can do as good or even better jobs than these ppl. It's whose hands you're comfy with leaving your baby in, and how much you're willing to fork out for what you get.

Better still...learn how to set your own guitar up. I'll work towards that soon. If you become an expert, I'll treat you to lunch that sunday for setting my guitar up! Darn cheapo right. hehe. all the best!

Hi Kenneth, thanks for the prompt reply. Sorry, my bad for not checking up historical posts before posting this, will check it up.

If anything, I think you will be picking up the setup skills before I do, I should be buying u lunch instead..haha..
