Who here has a Skreddy Screwdriver DELUXE?

Just about a year ago, I got my cbread DLS and it started me off on a fuzz quest, particularly fuzz faces and treble boosters as well. Then I started missing my Screwdriver which I sold about 2 years ago because the trimpots on the sides bugged me no end. Recalling how touch sensitive it was and having more knowledge on how to use fuzzes in a live setting, I'm thinking now that the two pedals will be a perfect match given the DLS' huge mids and the Screwdriver's in-your-face classic rock OD/fuzz tones(and more actually).

Yesterday, I started my order on a SD deluxe and it would take roughly 6 months to get built and delivered here. So who now here has a deluxe version and willing to discuss how they find it compared to the smaller version? Is it exactly the same sounding as the smaller one? How long did you wait for it?

I'm waiting for Marc to contact me about my Echo's completion. 4 more days and it'll be 6 months. The wait time of 5 months is definitely not accurate.

I don't think there's a difference really. Maybe you can shoot Marc that question in your email.

Hey man, yeah i just read from tgp now that they don't really find any difference at all. It's just a matter of the knobs being moved up.

For your echo unit, maybe it's better you email him again as what he has suggested in his website for cases like yours. Kinda sucks to be at your situation now but Malcolm(to whom I place my order said the 5 months plus on his website is like what you have said, not accurate). Or if he still doesn't reply, maybe just try other brands that's got similar characteristics of the skreddy echo.

I hope his waiting time will be at least like before, 2-3 months, in the future.

I'm in no hurry for the Echo. Mine's in hammerite gold also, maybe that could be a reason why its taking longer. I'm using a DMM now so I'm not complaining.
