Who for bass set-up?

Hi all,
can anyone recommend a place for bass set-up? The action has been set low and slight fret buzz only happens after the 12th fret.
And usually how much is the average cost?
Thanks!

can't recommend a place but can recommend somewhere you should avoid, it is the small shop (*not* swee lee) upstairs in Bras Basah. Those guys have tried to fleece me in the past, including recommending sanding down and refretting a 25 yr old neck that a luthier later informed me was straight as an arrow, and trying to charge me 250% RRP for some other gear!

Thanks schmig, noted. Besides that I also noticed the chinese technician happily talking on the phone while doing some work on the neck. Pity the owner man.
Hey rey bro, where's this place? Can PM me and their workmanship cost as well? Thanks!

maestro is at peninsular and esplanade. Guitar workshop does it. But i believe they dont do a very good job. And the place smells funny=x

I pai $150 at G77. I go for full setup, fix my electronic part including changing new parts and buy a new string and ask him to fix for me. Will be taking my bass back tomorrow. I'm not sure how much it cost just for a setup. By the way, is everything I do cheap? Or way too expensive?

I think after doing a set-up, my bass is all good like a new bass. There is no buzz fret. I got my set-up at Guitar77 and I think it's a good place to set-up. And peope say that Beezwork is quite good.

beez is a master at eletronics ...

i'm not sure about the setup though .. but after so many years of experience . .i'm sure he has some standard to it ..
