only other team support besides Arsenal - GERMANY.... 8)

Cmon Lehmann & co! 8)

Maybe England's manager should call in Darren Bent into the team. He has had an excellent season with Charlton, 18 goals in the 05/06 season making him the 3rd top scorer behind Henry and Ruud...

Bent lacking in international experience and i tink he only played with the England senior squad once.. tink Eriksson's gonna try to bring Rooney with him to the World Cup if he still has enough time to recover from the injury

True, but then again EPL is almost of world-class standard right? So if Bent is able to perform in the EPL, maybe he'll do just as well as in the world cup.

Anyway just wondering, how come the media cares so much about the England's team and not the other teams? This time there's the hype over Rooney's injury, then last time was Beckham's injury just before the World Cup?

world cup and EPL totally diff.. in EPL, Bent & Charlton got nothing to lose so they got no pressure when they play.. but in World Cup.. got pressure from all the England fans to win the World Cup.. plus if he comes into the team.. sure will be compared with to Rooney.. which will add more pressure..

Because the majority football supporters in Singapore watch the ENGLISH Premier League...

world cup

Done my research on previous world cup winners..... Its a fact that South American teams had done quite badly on European soil. The only time that any south american team that won on European soil was in 1958, when Brazil won the Finals in Sweden. That was way back to 48 years ago.

European teams had always been doin well. Infact almost all hosts won the World Cup in European soil. The only team that won the World Cup in Europe but in a different country was Italy. That was way back in 1982.

So that leaves all South American and other European Teams to be out.

My prediction is....... GERMANY...... and all other teams.... Preferably the underdogs. DO something like Greece man!!

I think either Germany or Brazil. Germans will always play well in front of their home crowd. There are also some other non-soccer related incidents in history, which proved that.

Personally, I support England. And IMO, they are the underdogs of this cup. Hopefully they can conjure something out.

GERMANY??? comeon, i doubt they'll play well... most of their key players aint even based in germany...neither do they have much quality, they cant convert, and their players arent goin with good forms.i'll put my faith on brazil, the samba champas are obvious favourites, with spain with a definite outside chance.spain has quality in defence and on the wings, not forgetting EL NINO up front :P brazil is just so exciting haha!but would their pathetic choices of warm up matches be their down fall??? well england definitely boast one of the strongest midfield lineups with a solid centre defence which is almost impregnable, theo walcotts speed and owens trickery a deft combie. i shal just say " SURPRISE ME!!"

Haha dude, brazil's key players aren't even based in brazil too..

Dida, Kaka (Milan), Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid), Ronaldinho (Barca), Adriano (Inter)...

Still, they do perform in front of their own crowd, though to be fair, every team lets their fans down once in a while..

I thought I remembered once in the 90s, the old ang moh guy, specky guy who coaches Singapre National Team set a target to have Singapore play in the finals (final 32 la, not really the Final..final) of World Cup in 2010? Hmmph. Anybody remember?
