If you were given a choice to master one bass technique, what would it be?

Last time I wanted to be a slap machine but I guess im drawn towards tapping now.

Victor wooten's Norwegian woods is inspiring and the sound is sweet.

How abt u?

Tapping for me. Seriously grabs more attention that plucking or slapping...haha.

Or maybe try be the next MAB on bass...?!

:P

Ditto - to groove.

On top of tapping, slapping and what-not, if we don't have the groove, it won't sound like you've got it in the pocket.

wad's harmonics?

Hi,

Natural harmonics on 5th 7th and 12th fret. Put ur fingers lightly on the strings just above the fret and pluck (nearer to bridge pickup for better tone).
Check out jaco's 'Portrait of Tracy' or victor's 'Amazing Grace'.

Cheers,

Ben
