hi all, plan to do some shopping over musical stuff.. mainly guitar thingy.. which Swee Lee should i go? and which music store u guys recommend?

wellll, firstly, do state what you wanna get, eg. fender, ibanez or what, as sweelee may not carry your desired gear

Katong quite alot of guitar stuff.. Brashbasah not bad. Sim lim i forgot. lol. But for drummers, sim lim and brash basah are good!

haha Sim Lim is totally different from Sims drive.

Sims Drive is quite an ulu place for people who are looking for it the first time. nearest MRT station would be Kallang but most people find walking from Aljunied a tad bit easier.

that place is the biggest showroom that swee lee has. truck load of guitars and amps. can even find some old stock guitars there.

I would recommend heading down to the Bras Basah branch though. there are other stores there that have quite competitive prices or brands like Fender, Gibson & Ibanez.

I like sim's drive's showroom. It's very big and you won't have staffs following you around or looking at you or staring at you or standing beside you. You can try the guitars on your own and they don't care.

haha you should try going on a weekday when they are doing nothing but smacking flies. take one guitar down only they come bugging you. I only go swee lee for small stuff like straps. at least they wont bother you for such things haha.
