You're comparing apples with oranges really. I think it all boils down to whether you prefer analog warmth of digital functionality (especially tap tempo). Of course, there are analog delays with tap tempo functionality (e.g. Diamond Memory Lane, Malekko 919, SD Deja Vu), but they are not within the same price range as the 2 pedals you mentioned.
If you are looking to get an analog delay, do check out the new EHX Memory Toy. Its about $130 SGD (if you ship it in from Tonefactor), and has seen rave reviews all over the internet. The Carbon Copy is notorious for dying due to static apparently.
Should you desire a digital delay instead, do check out the DD-7. I have one, and it's really awesome - crystal clear repeats, tap tempo, a looper, a decent analog-voiced delay, etc.
The deciding factor in the analog v digital debate seems to be whether you use delay as an effect (think U2, dotted eighths, etc.) or just to add warmth to your tone. I've used delays without tap tempos for the former purpose, and found that it's much harder to have your repeats be in time as compared to digital delays.
