Which shop is the best i should send my guitar for setup .

My guitar is a stratcoaster . I dunno which shop should i sent my guitar to . Could you guys help me . The cheapest ones i guess ? Do leave behind the price of the setup and also do they charge the cost of restringing the string ? I looking for action and intonation setup. Thanks

hey man! i send my guitars to guitar connection in penin there. its at the basement. they charge me 45 bucks for re-stringing and intonation. hope this helps! haha.

I recommend Standard Value (www.standardvalue.com.sg) Not too sure of the prices but I've had my Ibanez setup there more than a year ago and it is still really good. I remember paying $48 including the strings, but I was changing string gauge so I think in your case the cost should be a lot less. You can always send Mike at Standard Value an inquiry. He answers quite promptly.

Nowadays, I seldom see Mike at shop..the Woodlands one.
He still do the setup or the current guy manning the shop?
If it's not Mike, the next person I would send is malcolm aka empty71 . KC of Zen is good too but he needs to be extra careful when he handles the guitar. My old Ibanez 3120 had a deep scratch at the truss rod adjust headstock area whn I got it back.

Yes, if he is around, he will do it on the spot. Otherwise, you will have to leave your guitar there. It's best to call the shop to find out

Beez ftw... but you must make an appointment with him and you can watch him do it on the spot. He works fast and your guitar will play/sound like a dream after. Also you get a free setup within a month in the rare event that there are any problems.

I paid $80 USD for a setup by a professional technician in the US whose work ended up being notably inferior to Beez's...

whole day at wdl on Thursday.
