hmm, try not to get the squier affinity series it aint the best guitar. hmm, go to ultimate-guitar.com/reviews/electric_guitars. they rate guitars according to their playability and all, and they have a wider range there. try not to get starter packs, because you'll most likely wanna dump it once you get better, so get a mid range guitar? i'll go with epiphone, sg especially, cause in my opinion i think the sg is more made for rock.
