Which EHX Small Stone?

Hi all, any Small Stone users out here or any one who has tried them before, can you give me an opinion on which Small Stone is better - the black Russian one or the new US reissue? Or pls give me some input on the nature of both pedals, applicability for various sounds etc...

Both are the built same inside. the dial on the russian one tends to be damaged easily.

Some reviews say that the russian sounds darker? I'm not sure, thought I could get an opinion from someone here...

Anyone seen it around the shops? Any idea how much it retails for? If not i may have to buy it online :?
