i only surf these things when i am bored and got nothing to do i.e. in the middle of the night. hence random unexpected blasts of alternative music are not welcome. so myspace is out

I seem to be the minority. My vote goes to friendster. Hah,perhaps i've been using it for 4 years.I find facebook too much of a hassle,too confusing too...haha maybe i am just too lazy to discover it.
