Which Acoustic to buy?

Hi, I'm currently thinking of getting a intermidiate semi-acoustic guitar. Been playing on my old entry-guitar for years. Budget cap at $500 max?

Dig sounds that has a bright and wide reasonance, twangy kind of feel.
I play blues and contemporary styles.
I know nuts about acoustic pickups (cause i'm more a electric player). Which brand/model is better for my playing etc.

Went to sweelee and saw a big range available, and given so many choices on the market. I'm stuck for choices.

Hope you guys can provide recommendations =)

get a cort if ur budget is $500. ibnez to me are better but since u have a low budget, get the cort

Actually you might be able to get a second hand Ibanez Artwood for below $500. But if you want first-hand, get the $400-$500 range Takamines. They're excellent, especially the pickups.

Corts are good, too, but I'm not a big fan of their strap pins, though for both Cort and Takamine you might have to get the strap pins fitted in separately though its not likely to be expensive.
