Hey guys and gals,

I'm looking to get a 15 watt guitar amp for my home practice session.
And i would like some recommendations of which amp to get,
Im looking for something that is good and value for money as well.
So please let me know which amp to get!

Thanks in advance!
Cheers!

Common recommendations would include the Fender Frontman 15R, the Vox Pathfinder 15, and Roland Cube 15X/20X.

Personally, I prefer the Vox Pathfinder and it is very well received by many for a no frills practice amp with good tone and it accepts pedals well if you are into those. Plus, it sounds like a Vox:)

Another option would be the Vox VT15 with built in amp-modelling and effects but it is more expensive too. If bedroom practice is what you need the amp for, you can also look at the Vox DA5 and Roland Micro Cube.

bro- why 15W? maybe you can tell us the type of tone you wish to manifest- this would help us address your needs better. no use rattling off some brand names which wouldn't be favourable to you...

Vox Night Train and a Blues Jr. comes to mind? Should cost sub 1k if second hand.
Since you hardly state your expectations (budget, gear used with, songs to be played) I decided to give these suggestions.
Peace!

I'd go with the Vox Pathfinder 15R anyday. Mine's 4 years old and absolutely no problems with it. Pedal and multi-efx friendly, altho it sounds pretty ok on its own. Just that it doesn't have a midrange control knob, else i'd proclaim it to be THE best small practice amp out there in terms of value-for-money. Nevertheless, its still very high on my list.

Marshall MG15 has a warm clean channel but the distortion is ok only. I find Randall's distortion great....

I think Marshall's in-built distortions are one of the best. The problem is with their other effects such as chorus or flange. Don't ever ever use them.
The Vox sounds decent too. Don't leave out NuX Mighty 15. It's got a decent sound for the price. As well as Sound Drive amps.
