Where u get your tabs from?

Hello. Was just wondering where you guys get your tabs from? Or perhaps you figure it out by ear yourself.

I got my guitar tabs from Ultimate Guitar and drums by ear and YouTube.

Mostly from ultimate-guitar. But some of the tabs are incorrect so I do a lot of modifications by hearing the actual record on youtube.

most of the metal stuff i take from ultimate-guitar.

blues stuff i take down the chord prog. add in a few licks and solos yeah.

youtube is a good place too search for video tutorials which are very helpful

just to say cos we are on the topic on tabs,
maybe some experienced and good tabbers here could post some tabs on local songs?..

we got great local music and it would be interesting to see maybe a local band covering another local band...

i guess ultimate guitar is the so called "popular" place to get tabs from uh. haha. but it kinds of get irritating if you are trying to find a tab by a relatively unknown band as not many people will tab it out and i'm those who totally cannot tab it out on my own without any reference to other tabs. :???:

learn to play by ear! i struggled miserably when i started out, but now it's completely second nature.

Playing by ear is a great asset... If the tabs are wrong (a lot of tabs on Ultimate Guitar have incorrect tabbing, best is to find the tab that has the highest votes) you can use your ears to make adjustments.

i can roughly figure out the chords but it's the intro, riffs and solos that are hard to figure out. haha. for me, youtube is not as useful as sometimes, it's really hard to see which strings or fret the person is playing
