Where to solder guitar jack

Guitars jack wire just got busted and need to resolder anyone knows where i can get this repaired?

Should be any hardware shop. Simlim tower is also a good place to get electrical/electronics hardwares.

Yes, a soldering iron will cost around $15-$20 from sim lim tower and $25-$30 from those hardware stores like home-fix. You can also bring it to me in Hell's labyrinth

hmm i bought a soldering iron from the DIY home fix shop (something like that) for 11+ and you would need to get some solder to join the wires. but it's better to let someone who has experience to do it..

Buy a soldering iron with solder for about 15 or so at your friendly neighbourhood hardware shop. Anyway its pretty hard to go wrong with such soldering so little risk involved.

You're shitting me, how many watts? I can't use anything less than 70W or soldering pots is a nightmare. The pot is like a huge heat sink.

It's the iron, 30W is WAYY too little to solder a pot. For solder to stick to something, that something has got to be hot, the pot has a huge metal thing on the back, metal is a good conductor of heat. This results in the heat on the point where you want to solder stuff on being dissipated rapidly, this results in solder not sticking to the bastard when you want it to. A 70W iron has the power to rapidly heat the pot as well, this results in the solder actually sticking to the back of the pot.

If you're having trouble soldering wires, it's your soldering ability.
