Where to get gloves!?!

From my instructor: If you're getting blisters, chances are you're not gripping your sticks properly (ie too tight)

IMO, gloves mainly if you play until sweat (or ppl like me who have sweaty palms D=)

Anyways, if you really want, I do recall Yamaha have them, Ranking Sports also do stock some gloves, not sure about Swee Lee, din see any.

Yamaha has Vater gloves (the ones you find on the Vater website. Retailed at Yamaha for $45 at the time I bought it). I used them last time, they were nice, comfortable but unfortunately not a cure for blisters because blisters happen when there's too much friction (too tight a grip, loosen your grip a bit). I think gloves are meant to keep your sticks in your hands because like Schtauffen said, if your hands are too sweaty, your sticks might become too slippery.

Experiment with your grip, develop a light grip but ensure that its still tight enough that your sticks don't move or slip in your hands. But if you have naturally sweaty palms, gloves would be a good investment.

Yeap, as Eugene said.
Did I forget to mention I always have blisters last time when I started? Usually on my thumb and ring finger. Now even after playing the drums for 2-3 hours blisters don't form :D

I would recommend that you check those gloves at the goft shops. Their design and application is pretty much the same as drummer's glove.

if you wanna look hardcore-looking gloves which are cheaper then go for biker gloves..

if you have the money and wanna look cooler/ more professional, get golfing gloves which are about 40 for 1 side i think...

or just get regular drumming gloves.
