Where to find hardware store in East that carries wooden boards

Hi all, I'm planning to DIY a pedalboard, want to know where I can find a hardware store in the East side that carries a nice wooden board that I can use.

I tried Ikea - boards there are too big, thick and bulky, and DIY stores (Homefix, Selffix) - but they do not carry raw materials.

Looking to get a non-chip board type, just the big wood pieces glued together type.

Best if the shop is near Katong/Marine Parade/Simei-Bedok area

Thanks for your recommendations!

The wood you are referring to is plywood. You may go down to Eunos Industrial Park to purchase it. Usually it is sold in 1 big piece, 4 by 8 feet with variety of thickness from 3mm onwards. But you may try your luck cause the shop owner might have kept some small pieces unwanted and not collected by buyers.
Good luck on your DIY project.

Any carpentry workshops will have plywood cuts and waste.
Just scout around these workshops, you will find timber off cuts and waste plywood that can be used for pedal boards.
Ask the owners or workers if you can have some of these which are ususally dumped at Jln Halus.

Try these areas:
Sungei Kadut - if you're located in the north
Eunos and tampines(near SAFRA) - if you're located in the east
OR maybe Defu Lanes.

Good Luck.
