where to find dye for fretboard?

touching up an ebony board. any idea where can i find dye for such a purpose? i had wanted to import it but i couldn't because it is a flammable product.

black leather (shoe) dye.
thats essentially what the stew mac ebony dye is.

really? no offence, but just want to make sure before i attempt it. any way to verify this?

do a search on the forum at projectguitar.com
start with rubbing some steel wool on the board to "open" up the grain a little,apply the dye,follow up with some fretboard conditioner.

EDIT: make sure its an oil based dye first..not water.
