i have a floyd rose , and sometimes it a pain in the neck trying to restring it with different gauges , or set it to a different tuning , it drives me CRAZY! , so i was looking into buying a tremol-no , or something similar to it that will allow me to hardtail and refloat my tremolo without hassle .

so , does any shops in singapore sell the tremol-no? i heard allparts distributes them but idk what shops sells all parts ,

Guitar Connection sells stuff from Allparts. but i dont see any tremol-no the last time i went there. I ordered mine from Amazon. Total cost me <$100. Including shipping. Got mine about 2 weeks.

<$100 O.O?

for a piece of metal , honestly i thought it would be in the $20-$30 price range .

thanks anyway guys

Considering it's function and the material used, it's definitely worth it. The idea itself probably costs more than $20-$30. Give that guy more credit. It's really worth the money spent.

I got mine for about $90+. If you are using RG type guitar, get the small clamp one. I wanted to order another one but they are currently out of stock (Allparts) .

Btw, did you know that you have to set up your guitar every time you mess around with string gauges? youtube should have a few videos to show you how to do it. If you want to mess around with string gauges and tunings, please get the right guitar for the job. Do note that even for fixed bridge guitars, string tension does affect the neck considerably.

You'll learn all that in due time. I went through my fair share of floating bridge troubles. Guess what? I still love them :).

And there are people who pay more than a few hundred dollars for what is essentially pieces of wood, metal parts and some electrical components. Heck, some even fork out hundreds of thousands of dollars for those things that are more than half a century old. What's your point?

I wouldn't say rip off. they had their prices to follow. at least now we know where to get it. btw, notice that the small clamp ones are harder to obtain.
