Where to buy Ibanez parts?

But i noticed there are lines on the nut itself where the string goes over. That's okay? Swee Lee already replaced two of the pressure pads for me last tuesday but they worn out at the corners again. Will the one's from davis last longer?

Oh ya, and when i divebomb, i will go out of tune. Can this be because of the new springs? I sent my guitar to the Swee Lee service center for 4 days then when i collected it, the problem was still there and they insisted the guitar was fine.

Is this your first guitar that has a vibrato tremolo (Read floyd rose) bridge? There are a lot of reasons why it goes out of tune. Usually, the main culprit is, strings not being stretch enough. It has nothing to do with your springs. It might be your guitar isn't setup properly yet or the locking nut just simply sucks. It should not be anything to do with your bridge. Edge zero II is pretty good. Did you setup the ZPS system correctly?

The Gotoh ones last forever (Figurative speaking). I haven't changed any of my Gotoh Pressure pads before. Nor the locking nut. Just make sure you don't over tighten. Usually, my strings go Flat (Not note wise, shape wise) from clamping the strings (and that is over tighten already) and I don't see the string marks on my pressure pads.

Your bridge looks balanced. Do this, unlock the pads, Pull up 2 times, retune, repeat, pull up 3 times, retune, do until you do not get any change in notes, lock the pressure pads away. After that let us know if the same problem still happens. I suspect your strings are not stretched enough.

Ok. I'll try that. But if the strings are not stretched, shouldn't the tuning go flat? My strings are going sharp. And the problem was also here when I was using around 3-4 month old factory strings.

3 and 4 month old strings that are not stretched are still un-stretched strings. Not to say anything bad about the people you buy from but they probably didn't stretch it.

It goes sharp because the tremolo is pulling the strings down after you do a pull up. The thing with floating tremolo is that it's not the whammy down that causes the strings to go out of tune but the pulling up. Just try it and post here. If all else fail, I high recommend you bring it to a guitar tech to setup.

If you don't mind the wait, then sweelee and ibanezrules can order the specific oem ibanez parts for you. If you are looking for pressure pads u can jus bring ur guitar down to davis to see if they have the parts. Alternatively if u want the so called ibanez oem parts zen brings in gotoh parts which basically make almost all the hardware for ibanez. Davis has some gotoh parts as well and they also bring in some oem ibanez parts. I do recalling getting mi original ibanez edge trem arms, locking nuts and pickguard from them.

I stretched the strings the way you told me to alr for like 20 min and i think the strings are pretty stretched. Now, when start, the tuning is perfect. when i dive, the tuning goes sharp, but then when i pull up hard and release, tuning goes back to normal. Is this okay? and is Zen guitars in peninsula?

I hear a sound but i'm pretty sure that it's the tremolo arm moving in it's holder. I took out the trem a few days ago and i did not spot any dents at all.

I guess you can try changing your locking nut first. Hard to find out whats the problem over the computer with just words.

Do you mean just the pressure pads or the entire locking nut? Cos if its the locking nut I may try to get warranty from swee lee even though they just told me that the problem will go away in like 2 months by itself-.- thanks so much for your help anyway!

I honestly cannot think of what is wrong....
Cause if u did what i told u to...(which is to pull up till the point where it still stays in tune without locking the nut) then it should not go out of tune with the nut lock isn't it? If u are not hearing any click sound (which usually is from strings moving with your locking nut clamp down), then chances are it is not the nut. It cannot be unbalance spring because that's just to keep it in zero position. So, I honestly don't know whats wrong. LOL.

Ohh, actually I haven't pull up until there's completely no change in tuning yet. But I think it's pretty close. I'll continue stretching them tomorrow.
