Where to buy cheaper instruments?s'pore or overseas?

if you can get instruments from places like the states and ELIMINATE the shipping cost somehow (handcarry, help from someones else), its cheaper.

some stuff is just as cheap here as it is overseas. Eg I was looking at a Crowther Hot Cake which Mr Misse sells. It's about the same price as in Australia, and only slightly more expensive than NZ, where Mr Crowther lives.

It really depends on where you go, and what you're looking for.

I know Tom Lee in Hong Kong has certain brands and models that are cheaper than what you see in Singapore.

If you're talking about the Gibsons and stuff, chances are the prices are going to be similar regardless of where you go.

Heh, some extra info:
I just saw a couple of burnt blue jems, as well as a good selection of J-Customs here in Thailand.
Extremely GAS inducing.

chances are, unless you can get ppl to bring it back for you, its gonna be cheaper buying here on big items such as guitars and amps.

Pedals and stuff on the other hand u might be able to get cheaper.

I love Tom Lee!! Ok... perhaps not love, but really like...

I was there in Dec at their after christmas sales. If I hadn't just won my EBMM on eBay, I would have bought their EMBB JP. It was only like S$1800.

Just ship it back as a gift.

Or if guitar, take it on board the plane and store it into the overhead compartment.
