Can someone tell me where to buy a whammy bar, how much it costs, and whether it can work on a Ibanez Rg350?

hmmm... just the bar or the entire floating bridge?

well you can try davis guitars... they have kahler bridges... but I know they aren't very cheap..

DUDE!!i almost bought that guitar
its a Edge III bridge just go to swee lee or davis and ask the whammy handle for that model

well the bridge is based on the floyd rose design and may be better but im not to sure,my guitar is has a hardtail bridge

its not floyd rose to make it simpler i'll classify them as double locking tremolo system that are based on the floyd rose:)

almost all ibanez guitars have floyd rose rite?

No, not almost all :) The ones that have a licensed Floyd Rose are the RG tremolo, a few of the GRG models, S series, XPT700 and a few of the Signature models.

still... I'm curious... what happened to your current bar?

is it...

1. did too much windmilling and accidentally hit the bar sending flying to g** knows where

2. stuck it up your noisy vocalist's ass and couldn't dislodge it

3. did some vai-styled bar-slide sliding, but then your amp was a 100w tube amp that wasn't grounded and upon the first note you got an electric shock so bad that

3a. your bar flew off like a boomerang

3b. the bar got electro-melded into some funny shape that you can't fit it back in the floating bridge

4. accidentally dropped your guitar and your whammy bar sacrificed itself to protect the guitar (aww...)

Good luck in finding a replacement whammy bar as I have been looking for one for 2 months already. Davies and Swee Lee have no stock for them and they are not sure when the new shipment will come in...

lol everyone thanks for the replies.

Edge III?

Your whammy bar is TOTALLY different from the Edge, lo-pro Edge, Edge Pro and Edge Zero.

The arm assembly is part of the tremolo block, like a regular vintage trem.

So all you need is just a whammy bar that will fit into the arm slot. No need to buy a whole arm assembly.

You might not be able to find it but try - bring your guitar down to the shops and ask if you can try the replacement whammy bars they have, usually in AllParts packaging. You don't want screw threads on the bar.
