Where to buy a Fender Am Std Strat in Singapore?

Hi there, I am new here. Recently I've been craving for more strats. Looking for a Fender American Standard Strat.
In singapore, which retail store provide a good service, a good selection, and have the lowest price to offer? BGWguitar seems to put up a tag of SG$1600. Is there anywhere I can get a lower price? Tested one at Swee Lee, but their price is higher, can't remember though.

Best place would be Swee Lee or BGW,
should be about the same price actually.

You're forgetting Ebenex and Guitar Connection. Kelvin at GC is probably the biggest Strat fanatic I've ever met in Singapore, so he definitely knows his stuff.

I am new in SG, but do they usually have year end sale? Is it usually worth it to wait for year end sale?

The days are over when Swee Lee marked up their prices and then have a year end sale just to reduce it back to it's 'real good to buy' price.

They have since redid their pricing now, and it's very reasonable and competitive right now.

I doubt they will have any year end sale, at least not the discounts for Fender and other Nett prices

So your Am.Std will be S$1600 Nett.

Brand new definitely Swee Lee. Used you can check Guitar Connection once in a while. You can definitely get a better deal by getting a used guitar since the market prices are pretty stable for used instruments.

Do look out online prices also. Ebay and musician friend do have good offers at times.

If you're looking for used ones I think Kelvin is a good person to go to.

But i would suggest buying it new from BGW/Swee Lee =)

Swee Lee's Alright. Have you compared to 2 more stores near peninsula shopping complex/centre and excelsior shopping centre? Look these 2 up. SV Guitars and Music Theme. Just a long shot. Worth the looky see.
