Hey all,
Does anyone know any good open mic nights here or bars where musicians hang out/jam? Preferably with cheap booze too (though that's already asking for a lot) haha.
Or any experienced bassists and drummers out there keen on recording original stuff and gigging? Basically getting into serious studio and live work.
I'm just looking to meet musicians who can relate to the chili peppers, zeppelin, john frusciante, john mayer, and many 60s/70s artists - essentially anything with a groove you can bob your head to. Here's an budget-original to give you an idea:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xfgL4en6K0.
I just moved back here from a couple of years in England where i gigged around quite a bit and nearly failed uni. So i'm looking to jump back into the scene.
