Where have all the good ppl gone?

i actually had a strange experience when i wanted to buy somebody's metal muff.

he stated $xxx on his ad, but when i contacted him and tried to negotiate for $xxx-$10, he replied that he was ok with $xxx-$20, sorta like lowballing himself. we dealt the next day.

regarding the TS' experience, i don't think it's a big deal.

seller: i want $xxx
buyer 1: deal.
buyer 2: deal.
seller: so are you guys willing to pay $xxx + $10 to close the deal?

where's the big drama here?

I really dislike those people that try to negotiate on the spot.. Negotiations should be done before the meet-up. I sold something recently, agreed to meet up with the buyer. Not only was the buyer 1/2 hr late, he told me when he was about to reach that he only managed to get $xxx, and thats all he has. This kind of people really irks me.

hah my man, there's no drama. +$10 is fine, not so anal. but anyone would be annoyed if the seller asked you for another $200 over his listed price.

Add that to the.."YOU owe me for even considering to sell you my guitar.." voice tone.. who wouldn't wanna slap this fella.

Anyway folks, please don't get worked up. I'm over it. No point being sour over small things.

My apologies if I have upset anyone with my rant.

Cheers all.
