Where can I purchase a Warmoth Neck here in Singapore?

yeah, no suppliers in sg. u can try waiting for 1 to pop up on the classifieds here.. thats the best option i can think of bro.

It would be better if 'second hand' if possible.

In other words, you are too cheapskate to spend the money for the quality stuff that you want.

The point of getting a Warmoth neck is to get all the specs you want in it, buying one second hand is pointless as it may not be what you want exactly.

go and buy a tgm lar, should fit your budget. good quality custom stuff don't come cheap.

what's with the bashing? doesn't it come to your mind that he might have other reason for it, for example, the waiting time issue related to shipping, or just the hassle?

Very nice response stupid jack@ass.... very helpful. Did it occur to you that it might also occur that 2nd hand parts can also fit what you actually need? or avoiding shipping time... tax... etc...

I was just asking anyway.... so if you're "too smart" for this topic, PLEASE just don't contribute anything. :)

So what are the chances that the second hand neck has a Stratocaster headstock, quarter-sawn maple neck, ebony fretboard, '59 Les Paul neck shape, 22 6100 stainless steel frets, 10"-14" compound radius, LSR nut cutting, black round inlays, dual action truss rod, Schaller-sized tuning machine holes and satin finished?

This, my friend, is the point of getting a Warmoth neck. Allparts just makes necks with common specs. A custom Warmoth neck allows me to specify EVERYTHING that I wan, not something that I have to live with. If the Allparts neck has the things you want, then get it. At the end of the day, a Warmoth neck and Allparts necks are apples and oranges. And yes, I don't mind waiting and paying for what I want.

Pls la, dont start another Japan Les Paul Appreciation fight thread again. If he wants to save some money and time, can u blame him?

yes, its almost impossible to get the specs that u want with a 2nd hand warmoth but if he doesnt mind the differences its up to him..

I get where both sides are getting at but pls phrase your replies in a less harsh manner so that this doesnt start. you may be stating facts but leave sarcasm out of it.

Chill guys! :p

Hehe... thanks man. nah, no worries.. I'll just ignore him :p

^well done wck.
This forum needs designated peavekeepers. :p
Buying secondhand may not equal cheapskate. It may be one is frugal.
On the other hand, Warmoth/Musikraft/USACG parts are really specialized and it's best to custom order one.

np dude. jam soon eh?

jumpin'jellybean: thanks, i just cant stand it when people just start flaming others for a small mistake. it'll be more helpful if they just give constructive comments that dont seem like they're scolding people, esp when the thread topic is of interest to me... of couse everyone has their own views but keep the negative stuff to yourself.

totally agree

Theres no gst if you can get your order to below $400. U prob can get to that if you're not using special woods/options and do the finishing yourself.

The thing is, it's custom. If there's nothing special, you might as well get an Allparts one from Singapore, even cheaper.
