Yes i think its a local guy here...its exactly similar to the pictures you showed in the thread...

niteblade's tokai doesn't have the hummingbird pickguard.

nope, you won't ever find them at these places. not the original Gibson ones at least.

I seriously doubt Gibson will accept aftermarket orders for the pickguards that come on the high dollar Gibson hummingbirds and doves. they are trademarked and unique to those models.

anyway, if Gibson ever were to sell the mother of pearl dove inlayed pickguard shown above (its damn nice i must say!).. don't be surprised it would cost at least a few hundred bucks.. it's not cheap to make.

even a plain Italian celluloid 'tortoise shell' pickguard used by high end acoustic builders costs US$100+..

the local stores seldom carry acoustic pickguards. i've only ever seen the plain, normal teardrop shaped ones for sale at Guitar Connection or Davis, for around $10 to $20+.

you can try ebay.. there may be some copies of the Gibson ones out there.. you never know..

the gibson's isnt printed.. they are carve and inlay combination.

What you can actually do is get a piece of red acrylic and work your way out. If you need pearl material, pm me.

I just need the BASE of it, the plastic pickguard already precut
