where can i find boss HR-2 Harmonist or sumthing similar?

still toking 2 randolf abt it . basically more mid range , removing the nasal tone and diff choice of dist types.

in short from the 70s iron maiden to 80s metallica to 90s pantera to today's shadows fall type of dist tones. all i nid is a marshall tube head
and a 4 x12 cab to go along with it (totally not now)

yah . JCM800/2000 or tt JVM head haha . i'll have 2 test them out 2 decide next time.

btw the way, jus to confirm , with the HR-2 or PS-5 i can get the guitar harmony effect(2 lead guitar, not 3 ripper haha) with just ONE single amp rite?? or do i nid 2?

yes 1 single amp will do,
however if u got two amps, and u pan extreme left and right, u will definitely get nicer twin guitar lead sound as well.

alchemist: i own an hr-2 and ps-5, and i have a lot of friends who use ps-3 and/or whammy, and i have to say that the ps-5 is a piece of crap. the hr-2 and ps-3 are polyphonic on octave settings, plus the synthetic generated tones are a lot more pleasant than the ps-5 or ps-2.
the main reason i use the hr-2 over a ps-3 is that with the 2 generated tones, you can both pitch-shift and use a detune chorus at the same time, which is what i do to achieve simple organ- or synth-type sounds. the ps-3 (i believe) tracks slightly better than the hr-2 on non-octave settings, while the ps-2 doesn't track well at all. the ps-5 tracks well but doesnt sound good, and it gets very confused with intervals (especially when you're pitch-shifting thirds or sixths).

Congrat Alchemist to you for your find at ebenex! I am sure you have a great time meddling with all the pitch keys.

Lets those euro metal twin leads begin!!! haha...

Cool it dude.. A Hotel Calif lead should warm you up first... and then Iron Maiden, and then - dng dng! - Hanger 18 all da way!!!!!!!!!!!!!
