Does anyone know where I can buy Troy Stetina instructional guitar books here, in particular Speed Mechanics For Lead Guitar? Also how much are they usually? Thanks

Try Peace Centre, 3rd floor, if I'm not wrong the shop name is D'gear. But this shop will be your last resort, because his price is a bit steep.

Man I just sold off my copy to a fellow softie in the classifieds section. It's a great book, starts from the real basics to the tough stuff in terms of technique, and even throws in a bit of theory for you to get started as well. THE book to own if you wanna shred.

Anyways, in Singapore, it's going to be pretty hard for you to find a place selling this new at a good price.

You're best bet would be to go to Memphis Music in Excelsior, near Guitar 77. The owner Mr. Ho, is a really great guy I've been buying books, CDs, videos and DVDs from him for almost 10 years now!

His prices are the best you can find.

Just go down, check out the catalogs he has there and place an order. Lots of other good stuff for you to choose from too.

No problem, must check them out, they bring in a lot of guitar related obscure CDs, which you usually see in conventional stores with "import" prices. Great prices and great service!

sorry bro,

the shop i mentioned earlier is at parklane 3rd floor not peace center. Alternatively, you can check out borders as well, i saw them carry some troy stetina books before.

Thanks alot, I found it at Memphis Music today for a good price. Never seen that shop before, quite tucked away, but the owner was a really friendly and helpful guy. I would really recommend this shop

Drewgie! Congrats man!

When I got mine I think I paid 40 over dollars from Kinokuniya.

Tonnes of material in there to work through man, if you get pass all that you'll be shredding in no time! :)

It will take ages to ever finish that book SoulJah, I mean his version of Flight of the Bumblebee is seriously intense! But so far I am finding the book very useful and hope to progress through and one day hopefully work my way up near the speeds Stetina rips everything
