When is next Swee lee sales?

aiya sian man...i missed all their sales...mainly due to the fact that I didnt have money, so i didnt go down to any of the sales. Now im looking for an epiphone Leslie Paul, and all the sales have withdrawn.

at the EOY sale i saw epi LPs going for $520...wanted to buy one at first (last year) but then luckily i didnt 8)

Hmm

Someone posted on Luther Music ad that there is a Boss sales this weekend at Swee Lee. Anyone who knows, pls confirm?

You mean the 40% discount thing? It's always applicable to certain Roland/Boss products, but not the whole catalogue

hey is the "epiphone 56' gold top" thingy good? I cant remember the exact name, but its something like that lah, i tried it today at swee lee, i liked it cos it gives the closest sound i can get to my current guitar. I was thinking of selling my current one cos when i play, im always scared i scratch/chip it, but i love the tone, its an epi slash signature lp. Worth the change? The guitar i am eyeing has P90 pickups, i liked the sound, but some people told me that it will emit unnecessary noises. Any advice? thanks bros.

Hee

that should be a custom model. i tried my fren's gibson lp std '56 goldtop. feeling = SHIOKERIFIC!!

u mean the epiphone 1956 goldtop LP? i like it alot too..cos of the P90 pickups..the feel is really good too...

Custom? Nah, the Epiphone '56 Goldtop is a standard offering from Ephiphone, at least for the time being. If you like the goldtop's tone better than the slash sig, by all means get it, but if it was me I'd keep the Slash sig, it's discontinued and could be worth more in future.

actually i prefer the slash sig's tone, its even fatter than the goldtop, but i always scared kena defaced or sth. However, the goldtop's tone was the fattest i've heard so far today, when i went around testing a lot of epihpones at the city hall area. alternatively, i could keep the slash and save for a goldtop($900), but i have like...$10 now...a looooooong way to go.
