Whats this called and how can I expand on it?

My teacher taught me this, he said i should try and improvise you might say, to make something out of it.

try tremolo picking groups of notes

you could try playing 3 consecutive notes together, 1 count each, and just pick ridiculously fast (tremolo picking)

Tremolo picking as in picking repeatedly real fast. Nothing to do with the bridge, :lol:
