looks like there may be quite a number of guitarists who switched to bass! i wonder why though. anyway, i was a classical guitarist (still am). decided to pick up bass as a second instrument!

my first song on a bass was green day's 'holiday', 2 years ago. i didn't even own a bass till last year!
