Whats the difference between BOSS GT-8 AND BOSS ME-50

Alright, from what i know,both multi efx run under COSM.
Does this means that their sound and efx will be the same ?
coz right now i own a gt-8 and am selling it away for pickups and pedals.
i dont want to get another multi efx with is super complicated.

the me-50 has no modelling and an analogue interface so you can't save patches i think. without amp modelling the sound would be pretty mediocre. been watching a load of videos and the pod hd sounds the best with all modelling and what not.

That being said, if you still wanna get the me-50 i think that it is really dated. they released the newer version the me-70 quite a while back. should never backdate when it comes to multi-efx. So far I've been reading about the m9/m13 and it would seem that the sounds own the me-50 way over and the interface should be easier than the me-50/70. Should check them out
