What's done during a guitar set-up?

Hey guys, I'm wondering what is done to the guitar during a set-up? Kinda curious to know.

Adjusting trust rod, intonation, action. More expensive set ups may include nut filing, fret jobs, etc.

if its acoustic guitars here's what is done..

1. lowering nut height...of every individual string.
2. Lowering of the saddle and action adjustment
3. Adjustment of the Truss Rod to ensure that the neck is straight
4. Levelling of high frets due to buzzing( may have additional charges)
5. Cleaning of fretboard with #00000 steel wool with oil
6. Polishing of all frets.

How much does it cost for a guitar set up? I own a Takamine G Series acoustic, nothing fancy.
