What to plug My Mic Into

Hey what do u plug microphones into at home? I used to plug it into my marshall amp, is it a viable idea to do so, if i do not have the speaker system to support mics. Should i invest in buying a 15 watt amp solely for a microphone?

plug it into your hifi set or karaoke set.

if you want to buy a amplifier to plug your microphone, and wanted the sound to be good; you might need to buy an acoustic amplifier ( something like the AER ) , which is much more expensive.

not worth, unless you are rich.
