i find the SD1 very smooth. classic sound ~
Definately not digital ...~!
like i said earlier ... i prefer it to the ts9 or 808~
bet lots of ppl disagree, but it's my personal preferance...~
Anyways ... you can mod the SD1 to a Ts808 or ts9 ...
so ... it's still cheaper than buying a reissue ~
Also, you have unfolded the "magic" of the sd1~
it's a Great boost~!
But ... if you notice ...
when ur drive is at low, u have to turn up ur volume quite abit to boost ...~
Randolf has a mod for that too ...
to allow the volume to work "independent" of the drive ... ~
main thing ... where do you put ur sd ??
ever feel that most dunlop wahs cant project thru high distortions ...~?
Dat's where you kick in the sd1 ... with abit of drive ...
IMHO in dat setup .... it sounds better than the Morley Bad Horsie ~
i dun like the Morley coz .... it sounds muddy when clean .. ~
but when i use the sd1 as a boost to my cb535 ... hahaha
I feel it sounds great ~!
