Wanna get some advice for you guys on what are the recommended pedals or what type of pedals would you guys go for if you're playing in a post rock band?

Been playing guitar for 8 years but recently pickup bass for this current band. I'm at a confuse state on what pedals should start on.

Regards

I just started bass to. Mayb u can try "fuzz".

just from experience, listen to your bandmates and see how they play, sometime you spend quite alot on pedals but realise you are only using drive type pedals because your band mate do not give you space at all... and see whether your band mates are open to you using pedals, i know people who hates when i am using overdrive, he just want a clean bass. the pain of being a bassist i guess.

I was looking around for a fuzz pedal and stumbled upon the russian sovtek muff. Boy they cost about the same as a russian tank on ebay.

Bro, I advice u, buy those basic n cheap pedals for your effects. Dano works great for bass. I'm using 14 pedals for my bass. Da best for bassist using efx is when there are onli 1 guitarist in your band. That way, u can have your freedom to play your effects.

No probs bro. I love to share. But do take note that I'm not a skillfull mangkuk who noes all ya. I'm juz an average player who use to be a guitarist who luvs gadgets.....hehehe....

Ok here it goes. I use a krank distortion, ibanez bass overdrive, ibanez wah, digitech wah, boss pitchshifter, boss phaseshifter, dod icebox, boss lmb3, hartke bass attack, boss pq3b, planet wave tuner, dano slap echo, chicken salad vibrato n hash brown flanger.

Yet to find a behringer reverb n a dod delay.

well iam a drummer for most part of my teenage life and recently switch to bass playing for my work friends but yeah like you iam also into pedals. they are the most fun.

currently i only got a boss tuner, compressor, modtone chorus, tech21 delay and a bass wah. bought all used.

iam looking for behringer ultra vibrato. i wonder where in singapore u can get behringer pedals??

Da arrangement, in my opinion......from da guitar to da amps is;

Dist/od, chorus/delay/vibrato, wah, EQ, pre-amp.

But dis varies from other bassist.
