What kind of guitar sound is this, specifically?

I've never played anything but clean guitar, would like to learn more about over driven/distorted etc sounds.
Want to start learning from sounds that appeal to me.
So can the distorted experts comment on this type of sound in this video?

Kinda like the Megaman X / Zero series electric guitar sounds too, which the composer said is influenced by rock I think, hence it was called Rockman in Japan.
And of course all the lightly driven(?) blues sounds.

I am not an expert

sounds like some mid to high gain distortion, plus probably 3 delay pedals each set to a different repeat interval

Assuming I'm going to use a MFX, would it be Marshall, Vox or Fender kinda base amp to use to get the sound?

u can try a marshall with a overdrive pedal in front of it in the MFx for a more classic lead tone

for something more saturated u can maybe try using mesa boogie amp models with a overdrive pedal in front of it to boost the gain abit

can add some delay and some eq too to boost the mids a little oso

in a multi effect, I think the vox and fender amp models won't reach that level of gain ha

although no harm trying out each amp model in the multi effect and see which one gets closest to the tone
