What kind of effect?help.

can somebody please do tell me what kinda effects must i use?
distortion..need delay? or just plain distortion..

i really cant hunt the tone of it.

it sounds pretty meaty so stuff like the AMT Du Hast would be good. Alternatively, add abit more mids to your current EQ and drop abit of treble.

aha another question.

I really liked the Trivium-master of puppets cover type of distortion
and i want that kinda tone for my mop

any suggestions? dunno why but the didstortion is heavy but i can still hear the individual string notes being played. any ideas?

don't saturate your distortion, and don't scoop your mids too much

you mean.. don add too much distortion?let say... around what clock level?

I use 2 distortions, both never past 9 oclock, if you're using 1 pedal only, never go past 12 o clock. Don't scoop your mids if you plan to play leads.

erm, how to explain, take not of your gain and tone knobs on the distortion pedal. heavy distortion is ok, but learn to eq your pedals. i meant saturation as distortion max, tone knob max.

i play quite heavy stuff, though not heavy extreme metal, more of bluesy hard rock, among other types of rock music. but my rig can get me the metal tones, if i want the metal tones. and i don't have a distortion pedal. both my pedals are overdrive pedals. not very heavy ods in fact. low to medium. and i dont get the gain past 10:00.
